Hutch & Home, LLC is a family/veteran run furniture and interior design business that serves the home furnishing needs of residents in Beaver, Butler, Lawrence and Allegheny Counties and beyond.


 Alison (Douglass) Hutchins was born in Beaver, PA and graduated from Riverside High School. Upon graduation, she moved to Savannah, Georgia where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Alison completed internships at Dennis Sexton Homebuilders in Hilton Head Island, SC, Island Interiors at Ocean Reef in Key Largo, Florida, and Carolyn Hultman Interior Design in Savannah, GA before working for six years for La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Savannah, GA then Columbus, GA as their Interior Designer and Lead Buyer for Upholstery, Occasional, Rugs, Artwork, Lamps and Accessories. 

In 2008, Alison was the top selling designer in a seven state region, winning the Pinnacle Club Award for the Southeast Region with $638,000 in sales. Following her time at La-Z-Boy, Alison worked for Havertys Furniture as Visual Merchandise Manager and was responsible for merchandising and maintaining a 30,000+ sq. ft. showroom.

Christopher Hutchins was born in Portland, Oregon, and has lived all over the world. He recently retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Army. During his 23 years of collective service in both the Marine Corps and Army Special Operations, MSG(R) Hutchins held every position from Private to First Sergeant and was responsible for over 500 personnel, and logistic supplying of 500+ personnel over several geographic locations in some very austere environments. 

After retirement he moved to Canada to run a private farm operation for Island Valley Farms, the largest Cattle producer on Vancouver Island. He had over all responsibility for the company's security of several farms and timber properties and was responsible for managing his own farm, equipping the farm, and managing projects and personnel. 

In August 2014 he went to work for the Pulau Corporation working as a contractor in Afghanistan, training Afghan Special Forces.

In Jan 2015 he relocated with his wife and children to Beaver Falls, PA.
