Furniture Delivery Driver

Main responsibilities include: delivering furniture & construction materials, loading/unloading freight and installing and assembling furniture both at warehouse and customer locations. This position also assists in keeping showroom floor well presented with product, and conducting building, ground and vehicle maintenance..

This candidate must ALWAYS follow all safety procedures, maintain clients’ homes and ensure cleanliness, and possess a strong work-ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a current driver's license with a clean record. Must maintain good driving record in accordance with our policies.

• Must be able to pass all pre-employment checks.

• While performing the duties of this Job, the associate is regularly required to sit, walk and stand; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move more than 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and move more than 200 pounds with assistance from other team members or moving / lifting devices. Must be able to pass DOT physical and heavy lifting assessment on an annual basis.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Must be able to read maps and follow oral and written instructions.

• Must be 18 years of age.
